About MWA Northwest

MWA is the premier organization for writers, readers, and professionals in the mystery and crime-writing fields. The Northwest Chapter represents MWA members who live in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska​.

MWA-NW holds monthly meetings and other events throughout the year. Meeting locations vary, and include virtual events as well as in-person meetings in the Greater Seattle area and Portland. Past speakers have included police officers, detectives, FBI agents, prosecutors, coroners, bail bondsmen, DNA experts, fire marshals, and a variety of other persons associated with law enforcement and crime investigation.
